In 2018 our group has deposit a patent solicitation related to the use of a partially methylated manogalactan from Pleurotus eryngii edible mushroom with antitumoral properties.

The polysaccharide was tested in mice, as treatment alone or in combination with a chemotherapeutic drug, and the results obtained demonstrated tumor growth impairment without any side effect.
