During the last week of november our undergraduation students presented their work at 15th SIEPE, a week dedicated to teaching, research, and extension to general comunity.

As a visiting researcher by the CAPES-PRINT program, we had the pleasure to host Professor Anna Vilgem, from The Ohio State University (USA) at the PPGBCM. Among other activities, she offered a discipline (SENESCENCE AS A THERAPEUTIC STRATEGY AGAINST CANCER AND HUMAN-BASED PRE-CLINICAL MODELS) to graduate students and presented the work of her group at the IV SIMPOSIO ARAUCARIA EM BIOLOGIA CELULAR E MOLECULAR.
It was an excellent opportunity for scientific updates as well as for exchanging new ideas for collaboration.
