The lab originated in 1993 by professor Dr Dorly de Freitas BuchiToday we are a group of 4 principal investigators all being professors from the Cell Biology Department at Universidade Federal do Paraná.
Theresearch group line of the Laboratory of Neoplastic and Inflammatory Cells (LCIN) together with the Laboratory of Sulfated Polysaccharides Investigation (LIPS) aims to investigate the action of nanomaterials, sulfated polysaccharides, as well as other molecules in tumor cells, immune systems cells, and cells related to the tumor microenvironment (fibroblasts, endothelial cells, etc).
